But I can't back fear mongering and romantic nonsense about how my owning a gun is needed to protect our country from turning into a dictatorship. I also don't support the "fight everything" approach to gun regulation. I don't see any reason why a reasonable, gun-owning American would oppose properly conducted background checks as a prerequisite to owning a gun. |
