I'm surprised that more Democrat folks don't take Mud's approach of "I cannot support Trump" as their reasoning.  Not that they like Hillary.

I get and respect that. 

How can you openly try to defend her actions?

For instance, I am going to write a post when I have some time on my understanding of the Clinton Foundation, which will refute a lot of the claims that have been made here. That does not mean that I don't think Hillary showed unacceptably bad judgment.

But to at least half the posters here if I write anything other than that Hillary is the Devil, let alone explain why she is something less than demonic, I am defending her. I find that really annoying. Truth is rarely in the extremes and we sound like a bunch of irresponsible yahoos when we act as if it is.

And I made the same basic point about Trump yesterday. Everything he says is being given the worst possible interpretation as if that is the only possible explanation of what he meant. That's just silly.

It is our inability to think and discuss in less than extremes that has led us to this bad state politically. We continue to revel in that flaw.
