And what is it that Donald J. Drumpf of all people supposed to say and make it all better? The guy's an #badword#, always been one, always will--why would anyone expect him to have any empathy or say or do anything that might make people feel better. He might if a hurricane were to blow down Mar-A-Lago. But people are outraged that Drumpf shows no sympathy/empathy and his tweet storm was more about how YUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE the storm was and how he liked the ratings it was receiving and how it was all about him.
