My Dad was taken to North Florida Medical Center arond 6 pm with symptoms of a heart attack. I opted not to go to Gainesville this morning after talking with him. Now I am really in a jam as the storm is headed for my family here in GA and southbound 75 traffic lanes are being reversed.

No diagnosis yet, but the ER nurse said Dad was alert, comfortable, and talking. My brother and wife say stay put unless the medical staff tell me to come.

This is deja vu of my Mother's death in March except I couldn't blame a hurricane for not seeing her until she was hospitalized.

Not only prayers offered, but real people I have never met offered to visit my Dad for me. I am actually crying as I post this.
