Is achieving them worth what it is costing us to get there? These are all questions that need to be asked Jim, and I'm sorry if the soldier in you doesn't like this larger picture. But Wayne, Native, and all of us have the right . . . no, the imperative, as Americans, to think about these things and to make up our minds as to whether we are going the right way.

You propose we never even ask such questions and trust that our CinC and Congress are doing what's best for us all. We're not all so trusting.
