Went to listen to Danny Sheridan last night at FGTC. He's always entertaining and a good speaker.
He brought up the UF/FSU game in 03. He said he was watching the game on TV and the more he watched the more he thought it was fixed. Since he's an Odds maker he made a call to a "commission/board" in Las Vegas to make sure there was no illegal betting on the game. He said that they told him they had already received several calls and had already started the process. He said it was unusual that many calls would come in on one game. He said there was no betting on the game by the officials but the officials made a bunch of money for the ACC that day.
He also said that the ACC was embarrassed by their officials and did some things behind closed doors. I disagree. Not only do I believe the ACC was not embarrassed, I don't thing any conference is embarrassed or we'd see more movement to change the conference alliance with officals.
