back around 1993 or 1994, I got my first computer and installed a modem (broke the thing and screwed up my computer, but finally got it working...but I digress).  I did a search for "Florida Gators" and found the old GSMB.  Created the username Mudlizard and became internationally famous.  Started looking for rival boards and found this strangely nerdish place called Wayne's Auburn Board.  Found the regulars to be easily intimidated and had some fun.  The webmaster was a no nonsense kind of dweeb who spent a lot of time posting scientific thread starters that no one really cared about.  Finally clicked with a couple of the posters with a sense of humor, got under Wayne's skin enough to where he ulimately developed a man crush on me, and eventually he made me his first admin. I used to do this thing called "Mudlizard's Question of the Day".  Many of the regulars hated me.  Some still do.

Meanwhile, my sister was in the web hosting business.  She decided to buy me the domain name mudlizard.com as  a birthday present.  I didn't know what to do with it.

Back in Gator land...the GSMB turned into an unmoderated cesspool.  Wayne offered to make me my own board.  I found a use for my domain name.  AS fate would have it, around that same time he lost his server home and we parked our sites at a couple of different places short term, until we ultimately raised money and purchased the original Mudduck.

ReVolver, meanwhile was starting his own site and copying my every move, aspiring to be me.  I felt bad for him and convinced Wayne to let him park his little website on the Mudduck.  His position on the server remains tenuous to say the least.
