This Gator is thankful for: -Mr. Two-Bits still leading his cheer -Century Tower -The tradition of singing the Alma Mater after each game -The Homecoming parade -Alan's Cubana and Salty Dog Saloon -The sun setting over Lake Alice -The first people to ever sway while singing "We Are The Boys" -Stephen O'Connell, John Lombardi and all the other fine past presidents of UF -The walk from my tailgate spot at Norman Field to the stadium -The students who wear the Albert and Alberta costumes -Oyster Andy who opened the Purple Porpoise almost 20 years ago. -Paynes Prairie -Billy Dononvan -The Ramma-Jamma cheer -Burrito Brothers -Kerwin Bell's two point conversion against Auburn back in 1986 -The Jackson family (Willie Sr, Willie Jr, and Terry) -The inspiration Coach Geno was able to bring to UF for all those years -The World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party -Buddy Alexander -The downtown landmark known as Shorty's Happy Hour Pool Room -The Pride of the Sunshine -52 to 20 -Gator Growl -Joe's Deli -The sight of my three year old daughter in her little UF cheerleading outfit -The old Albert logo -Jeremy Foley -Mary Wise -The Gator Chomp -The Super Sophs -Lane Fenner for not being able to stay in bounds -All the wonderful professors I had while attending UF. They changed my life for the better -The person who first thought of having the Gator cheerleaders wear a garter -Becky Burleigh and the women's soccer program -Sunday mornings in Gainesville -Saturday nights in Gainesville -Emmitt Smith coming back and completing his degree -Tubing down the Ichetucknee -Two Final Four appearances -"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere Come the Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" -The Plaza of the Americas -Andy Brandi -Breakfast at Bageland -Lunch at Cafe Gardens -Dinner at the Sovereign -All the athletes whoever wore the Orange and Blue -Ray Graves -"DOERINGS GOT A TOUCHDOWN!!!!" -April in Gainesville -October in Gainesville -The drumline's concert outside of GPA after each home game -The Coke vendor hawking his wares by yelling, "Mixers!!!" -Wilbert's and the Wilbert family who still run this wonderful little store -The genuine love Steve Spurrier has for our university -The DC Gator Club -The memories of Wilbur Marshall's performance against Southern California back in 1982 -The memories of the original C.J.'s -Mike Miller's shot against Butler -Those Heisman Trophy bookends that reside in Gainesville -A fellow Gator greeting you with "Go Gators!" even though you're thousands of miles from G'ville -The feeling you have on a gameday morning -Mick "Oh My!!"
