Instead of whining about Zook's gag order, instead of crying and whining about it, what you should have done was walked a couple of hundred yards to the basketball practice facility. There you would have found a team ranked in the top 10 preparing to play perennial power Stanford on national TV. If the Gators win they would then take on an even bigger basketball power, the winner of UNC and Kansas. I'm sure Billy and the players would have been thrilled to talk to you. Imagine their surprise at the horde of columnists and writers wanting to talk to them the week of the Florida-Florida State football game. But no. All of just selfishly went to your laptops and wrote whiny columns about not having access to the football players. Guess what fells? When life throws you lemons you should make lemonade. Instead y'all turned into sourpusses and came off sounding like 7 year olds who were just told that they couldn't play with their gameboys for a week. So next time, before you whine about the media coverage that UF uses to promote itself with, how about actually giving some of that coverage to other UF sports, like Men's and Women's Basketball. I bet that 90% of you bellyachers had no idea that a great game was being played between UF and FSU last night. Why didn't you cover that game? Or maybe you could have covered SEC Coach of the Year Mary Wise and her volleyball team. But again, y'all chose to bitch, whine, moan and complain about Ron Zook. There are only 2 reasons I can think of that you didn't write about any of the other big sporting events going on this week at UF. 1) You are clueless about all other sports. Well, I got news for you. The same old tired clichés and writing formats that you use for football can be used for other sports. 2) It's easier to bitch, whine, moan, and complain then it is to actually walk a few hundred yards to write about something else. One last thing, since I know how lazy y'all are. The Gators take on Stanford at 7:00 tonight on ESPN. Check your local listings for channel number, that is if you don't want to whine about the TV not being preset to ESPN.
