OSU is clearly #1.

Very easy schedule but OK.  I don't argue that one.

USC has played the toughest schedule in the country and lost an away game by 2.

ROTF!  Says who?  Sagarin with his ridiculous Left Coast bias?  They've beaten a good Arky team.  Congrats, that's a quality win.  Other than that........who?  Cal?  An unranked 3 loss Cal team?  They lost to an UNRANKED and very mediocre Beaver team.  They struggled mightily against Zona and Wazoo and Washington.  They do NOT deserve to be ranked ahead of us right now.

Michigan lost in #1's house by 3.

Michigan gave up 42 points and lost.  They should now have to climb out of a 6 or 7 spots down hole JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE when they lose a game.  Them's the rules.  Everyone else has to live by them, so should they.  They knew what was at stake and didn't get it done.  They struggled mightily sith Ball State and Vandy AT HOME.  Their "quality" wins are over a ND team that hasn't beaten ANYBODY of note and a Wisconsin team that also hasn't beaten ANYBODY of note (not one win against a ranked opponent for either team).  They do not deserve to be ranked ahead of us or USC or Arky right now.

We've had a great season but got woodsheded by Auburn

"Wooshedded"?  We lost by 10 and they got a completely meaningless TD on the last play of the game when we were flipping it around trying for one of those Stanford band plays.  So really, their margin was 3.  That's the same margin as OSU over Meatchicken.  So did Meatchicken get "woodshedded"?  Their D gave up a helluva lot more points than ours did and they hadn't played two heavyweights in the two weeks prior to that game as we had to.

you'll notice none of the other top 3 teams have lost in that manner.

You'll notice you're just plain wrong about Meatchicken and that U$C's loss is worse than ours.

Furthermore all of the top 3 have a win over a legit top 10, and we don't. 

LSU is a top 10 team. 

We are where we deserve to be.

Nope.  We deserve to be above U$C and Michigan right now.

Our shot is what it should be- if ND beats USC, and we pound Arky, ya know like USC already did, then we'll have a good argument to be #2.

We shouldn't need that.  We've already proven more than either of those two teams.  They are the ones who should need help to be above us.
