convincingly this year? Unfortunately, that's what it is all about now. We just played a BAD 1AA team (REALLY bad) in a crucial time of the year - that didn't help. Our last reg. season game is against a 5 loss semi team that would usually be counted as a big win - not this year (if we win). Games that we usually point to and thump our chests over were just not a big deal this year, like UGA and Bama - sorry, but big deal to us, but both of those programs are DOWN, and we struggled to beat both. We have some lackluster wins against teams that don't have national juice, like Vandy, South Carolina and UK. Poeple expect to see Florida 42, Vandy 10 on the ticker...... our signature wins are @ UT and over LSU, right? But the SEC is miles ahead of every other conference......
Look, I am not saying we don't deserve a shot if we win out, I am just saying I can see why we WOULDN'T get that shot this year....
