Kenny Gainesville, Florida: Carlos, welcome to the Gators Alex (Miami, FL): Hey Carlos, does UF winning the National Championship this year do anything to sway you decision to go there? Carlos Dunlap: (12:20 PM ET ) Yes and no. It did have a little effect, knowing that they won the national championship, but what I like about Florida most was their fan board Mudlizard's Virtual Swamp. Those guys are the best. Grady,FL: Carlos, who is your favorite poster on the VS? Glad your a GATOR! Carlos Dunlap: (12:21 PM ET ) I would say GatorDJ. Anyone who can take all the crap he has about his age is cool by me. Andy (Gainesville): Carlos, isn't it great to be a Florida gator? Do you feel there is a lot of pressure having to impress the fans on the VS? Carlos Dunlap: (12:21 PM ET ) Absolutely. I can't be letting down Stats, Mud, Flea, Wize, Shot and all those guys. I feel a great need to impress those folks and play my best for them. Parker (Birmingham): Carlos, how does it feel to have the whole recruiting process over with and have the ability to focus on the rest of your senior year and preparing for the fall? GO GATORS!! Carlos Dunlap: (12:22 PM ET ) It's a relief. Knowing that I'm going to be spending my next four years at a great school and getting a superb education is an honor, knowing my hard work so far has paid off. Now I can start getting ready for the season, but also kick back a little and make sure I stay on top of what's going on by reading the VS each day.Rob, Gainesville, FL: It appears that Florida will get a few D-lineman...how many much will they play Carlos Dunlap: (12:23 PM ET ) Florida rotates their defensive linemen a lot. Whatever way it goes, I'll be in the rotation. The better I get in there and work hard, the better off I'll be. We all want to be the guy that gets noticed first on the VS.David (Titletown, FL): Glad to have coming to join us down here in titletown. What was the biggest factor in you choosing UF? Carlos Dunlap: (12:24 PM ET ) The Virtual Swamp without a doubt. Those guys are so knowledgable and witty. It is an honor just to have my name mentioned by them. To think that they'll be talking about me for four years - well it just doesn't get any better than that. Carl (Roswell): Carlos, have you ever had a thought of attending a mid-major school, such as Central Florida? Carlos Dunlap: (12:25 PM ET ) WTF? You're really Coach Tony, aren't you. STFU. Willie (Portland, OR): So do you think you'll ever post in the Lounge? Carlos Dunlap: (12:25 PM ET ) maybe when I'm an upper classman, but right now I've got my hands full getting through the main board. Joe (Blacksburg VA): What is your opinion of the whole recruiting process? Carlos Dunlap: (12:26 PM ET ) It's real fun. It's great. You get a lot of attention. It's always good attention. The props I've gotten on the VS are the best. If I can keep those guys happy their good reviews will certainly snare me a huge NFL contract when my time comes. Everyone knows all the scouts from the NFL, the NBA and MLB all read the VS for the skinny on players. Carlos Dunlap: (12:26 PM ET ) Although I wish during my official visit that I could have gone by a VS tailgate. That would have been the highlight of my recruitment. Brendan, Gainesville: Hey Carlos would you say BH or amsterdam? Carlos Dunlap: (12:27 PM ET ) Oh man, I don't even want to get into that mess. DCGATOR(Washington,DC): Carlos, what are you going to major in? Carlos Dunlap: (12:27 PM ET ) Up until yesterday I wasn't too sure, but after reading about Swamp Woman's tax problems I've decided to major in accounting.
