As a relatively new member to the VS (2 years) I have some advice to help you get over the rough spots. There are some flash points you should be aware of regarding certain members.

Wayne: Hates the idea of a playoff, so don’t mention it any thread he is involved in. He also readily acknowledges USC’s superiority in 2004 to his undefeated Auburn as a reason the current system “works”. Don’t knock the BCS as it could get you banned.

Mud: Is computer genius, so if you have any technical questions ask him. Server problems, Mud’s your man. Also don’t try to tell him that Ted Ginn ran more than 3 routes in college.

Hungary: Has a very liberal sense of politics, was strongly against the Iraq war, and has great respect for the talking heads in the media (Along with Pac-10, Big-10) Best advice is to never talk bad about a Clinton, Kirk Herbstreit, speed of the Big 10, or Pac-10 defenses.

Gatorpower: Is quite literal. Sometimes it may read like he is going over the top on purpose, but he is not. If he says he wants to eat your spleen, that’s exactly what he means.

KillerGator: Thinks it’s a fans duty to speak out if a coach is inept, no matter what. Loves Steve Spurrier and understands his decision to coach at South Carolina.

Swamp Gas: Does not post much, but when he does mark it down and take it to your bookie as his picks are as good as gold. Also has loved the spread option from day one.

JimG8R: Loves Joakim Noah, but is not very patriotic. Fortunately, he is very easy going and is hard to get riled up. Unless you like Notre Dame, then you will hear about them “living in the past”.

Humpgator: Has a problem with fans who rip on the Georgia Bulldawgs. Don’t ever type CUR in reference to a Bulldawg or Hump will be all over you.

Babysister: Flat out a pot stirrer. Not a peacemaker or someone who responds with reason and rationale.  No one likes her. And she absolutely hates Gator Basketball. If you don’t want to get chewed out, avoid her at all costs.

CrocodileJimVLizard Of Oz: Lack of passion is the best way to describe him. Never takes a stance on whether the Gators will win or lose. Sometimes I wonder if he is even a fan.

GatorTom: Doesn’t understand the fascination with following 16,17, and 18 year old football players. Thinks it's strange the fascination of 40 year old men with teenage boys. Avoid recruiting talk with him.

Lit-Gator: Loves the Yankees

UFNY: Loves the Sox

Swamp Woman: Has never heard of myspace. Has no idea what is going on in her kids lives, and is probably drunk at this very moment.

Bullishnole: Great ambassador of FSU. Been asked several times by the admins to post here more often. Unfortunately, he is very humble and as such does not post as much as we would like.

Amsterdamgator: rarely gets any inside info. But when he does, he always makes sure it is legit and does not post rumors. And he hates birdies.

Those are just a few warnings that popped into my head. There are many more warnings that need to be issued (I have not even mentioned Albert, SpacinGator, Bimmber Boy, Mountain, Rum, Flea etc..).

But if you stick to these guidelines, and drink a lot, you should do just fine at the VS! Again if all else fails and you have a question about board etiquette, please refer to JimG8r.
