I appreciate your positive outlook on Gator football, I really do. People are different and handle things in their own way, but I have always appreciated the positive side...I think there were several bad calls and decisions yesterday, but I'm pretty amazed at the newspaper reaction and some of the folks round here...the reaction doesn't match what occured in my opinion...granted Zook didn't make it easy on those that defend him...but the press it seems is attempting to take it out on him particularly harshly since that media ban the week of the fsu game...they really seem to want to grind a hob-nailed boot on his face... In all honesty, I think we the fans have lost a step...we filled the stadium yesterday but sat on our hands until the team did something to merit our applause...it's like this whole season we've sat our our big a$$es and said..."prove it...prove you deserve our support...." I remember when it was the other way around...when we implored our team to do something well....when mistake after mistake was made but we refused to give up on the Gators...The Michigan fans were the ones who seemed to be the ones fired up to be there....maybe cause they were so outnumbered...but I think if we're going to jump the team and coach Zook...we need to take a look in the mirror and step it up as the number one fans in AMerica...if not, then we're not at all much different than anyone else...Just seems to me, this season has been one long hangover trying to get over being "jilted" by The Master...Just hope we don't take it out on someone who stepped up to the plate to take a swing at it...criticize but not excorciate...
