Dear Commissioner Slive:

As a followup to our telephone discussion earlier today, when you yelled at me for being a moron and a jerk, I do want to apologize in writing as you demanded for what transpired after the first score of the Georgia/Florida game this past Saturday, when our entire team left the bench area to celebrate the score attempt to start a fight with Florida's starters. If you would again allow me our publicity department to explain my thought process spin this for the media and our equally classless fans, students, and alumni, I would appreciate the opportunity to attempt damage control.

I thought this stunt would help is win.  It didn't really help, as Florida's players didn't take the bait and then scored on us immediately after this occurred.  It looks like I will have to try this with Spurrier's teams at S Carolina now.  Anyway, I did notice they were thin on the defensive line, so I ordered our offensive line coach to have one of our guys take out one of the few DTs Florida had left.  That worked!  I learned this in my previous programs, and I thought this would be tolerated in the SEC, too.  Sorry you had to yell at me for this incident as well.

I pretend to apologize that I put everyone in that situation and specifically apologize to you, the Southeastern Conference, and the University of Florida. You can be assured I will not ask our team to do this type of thing again in a way that we'll be caught so easily.
