or at least to a larger degree than we do . . . Congress is full of pussies. It has been since the times you reference. They do not do their job. They pass the buck. They look for political cover . . . and we as a country and as a people suffer. It is only due to the extraordinary foresight of the Founding Fathers in designing our system and the work ethic of the American people that we have lasted this long . . . we have now corrupted and perverted the original plan so much that I fear for our future. Where is the leadership to carry us beyond what Jefferson, Madison and the boys could see? Who will bail the Federal Government out? Hell just go ahead and make the Federal Government 100% of GDP and be done with it . . . issue me my peasant salary and wicker hut, and my government heathcare card . . . I have football to worry about.
