how they would feel about issues that pertain to that event, but being acrimonious to anyone and everyone that views things in a different light is NOT the way to get your point across. (IMO) Intentionally goading and belittling posters only puts them on the defensive, causing them to ignore any argument you might be trying to convey. This type of behavior only gives this type of person(s) the reputation of someone whose only goal is to rile people up. (IMO) Having a forum separate from the sports board where people can discuss political and social views is a great idea. It's unfortunate that some people feel the urge to turn it into a bullying session for those that disagree with their views.
