It was originally that we only won because we cheated.  Then it was that we had a "system" and time would eliminate the advantage.  'Bama winning the inaugural SECCG was proof that order had been restored.  Then it was that we didn't really have any history before 1990.  Later, we were sure to crash & burn because Stevie had left.  Even though the Zooker never had anything close to a losing season, they laughed at the website bearing his name.  Then the spread would never work in the SEC.  Of course, 4 losses last season was proof that we were (again) a flash in the pan.  Now, as soon as _______ (insert name) is gone, UF will drop two notches below Baylor on the college football radar.

Longest current streak of consecutive non-losing seasons in the SEC (and it isn't even close), and second in the NCAA.  Longest current streak of consecutive bowl games in the SEC and second in the NCAA.  More SEC titles than any other school over the past 30 years.  As many MNC's as any SEC school in that time.  No school in the SEC currently has gone as long as UF without at least one of their athletic programs being nailed by the NCAA for Major Violations.  One of the top graduation rates in the SEC and nation for our football program.  Recruiting is still near the top of the heap, the team is still young, and we are playing for another MNC in a month.  Yes sir, Gators are definitely a flash-in-the-pan.  ;-)
