SEC is clearly the class of the BCS, winning 5 times since 1998 [UT-98; LSU-03; UF 06; LSU 07; UF-08].

The other conferences combined have 6 titles.

By comparison, ACC has one title, in 1999. [And sorry ACC, Miami was in the BIg East in 2001]

Big East has one title [SCUM in 2001]

Pac 10 has one title [USC in 04]

Big 10 has one title [OSU in 02]

Big 12 has 2 titles [OU in 00; UT in 05]

So the SEC has won more than twice as many Championship games as the next closest conference (Big 12) and is only one win short of having as many titles as the other conferences combined. Hmmmm, which SEC team got totally hosed from playing in a BCS Champ Game? (hello Auburn 2004). So SEC could, had Auburn not gotten screwed, have more BCS Title wins than all of the other conferences combined.

And even with this dominance, we were an Iowa field goal away from the SEC getting screwed again. Penn State would have played Oklahoma if that Iowa team didn't win.

That's sick. What happened to Auburn should never happen again.

If the BCS can adopt special rules for that Notre Dame bunch coached by Rose O'Donnell Weiss, then maybe the BCS should consider and adopt some special rules for the SEC.

When our conference champ gets to go to the big BCS title game, we win every time. If you want to determine who the best team in the country is, just look at which team won the SEC. Our undefeated or 1 loss conference champs are the best teams in the country, without exception.
