"When you have an inferior product, an inferior school, then you must discredit the other product as Saint Bobby has done for years. " ...evidence of both of these things at once! A couple of years ago, a recruit on his official visit to Florida said to me the following words: "The coach at FSU told me I shouldn't even think about going to Florida, because I could never make it here academically." He didn't specify which coach at FSU said these things, but I'd say that's still evidence that (a) FSU is an inferior school and the coaches know this and (b) at least one coach there has tried to "discredit" UF as too hard (although I certainly don't take this as an insult, it could certainly be considered an attempt to discredit our academic support services). By the way, this kid was right--he couldn't have made it at UF academically. In fact, UF coaches were told to stop recruiting him by our admissions office. I'll take the fact that he is currently on the roster at FSU as evidence that FSU is less demanding.
