1) Hillbillies  with a win vs UT in the Swamp, UF will take the lead in the series which is currently knotted at 19 wins each. 

2) Blotchy/sow with a win vs sow in the Swamp, UF will take a series lead over Blotchy who is currently tied with UF lifetime (if you count the 2003 Swindle at the Swamp as a legitimate sow victory which we all know it wasn't) at 17 wins each.  This will mean that every single sow coach who has ever faced the Gators has swallowed a LOSING career record-Blotchy is #6.

3) all-time winning percentage with 4 wins more than Auburn and scUM, UF will jump both programs in winning percentage since the start of the Gator program in 1906 and will vault from being the 17th winningest program in the country over that time to the 15th winningest program....not bad for a program that didn't start playing football until 1990.

4) poodles UF is two wins away from pulling even with the poodles since the start of SEC play in 1932.  A victory next year would complete a 17-3 record over the last two decades-by far UF's best stretch in the series easily surpassing UF's 12-7-1 record in the 50's and 60's.  UGA's best 20 game streak is a 15-4-1 record in the first 20 games played.

5) all-time winning streak UF's longest winning streak was 12 games in 1995.  There was an 11 game winning streak in 1927-28.  UF is currently working on a 10 game winning streak so a victory against UT would also be the longest winning streak in school history. 

6) Perfect Season - UF has perhaps its best chance ever on paper at least to have a perfect season which has never been done in school history.  UF has had an undefeated season (1911) -contrary to ignorant rival propaganda - but never a perfect one.

7) Tebow - could become only the second player ever to win a second Heisman Trophy and should he lead the team to another MNC, he would finish his career as the most highly decorated and accomplished player in college football history with 2 Heismans and 3 MNC's.  He needs 7 rushing TD's to overtake Herschel Walker as the SEC's career rushing TD leader.

8) Rose Bowl - Should UF win the MNC game in the Rose Bowl this year UF will be the only college football program in the nation to have won a national title in all 4 major bowls (Rose, Fiesta, Sugar, Orange).

9) Seniors - the 96 UF Seniors finished with 45 career wins.  The rising Seniors for 09 have 35 wins over the last 3 seasons so should UF win 11 or more games this season, they would finish their careers as the winningest class in school history.
