for me recently.

I posted on the board to ask if anyone had any suggestions for a small TV that I could take with me to Alaska.  SG suggested I pick up a TV Stick.  Well I picked one up yesterday and it is PERFECT for what I need.

It has also been the reason I am now well versed in the whole ATSC signals.  I get FANTASTIC HD reception for several channels over the airwaves - all of the networks and a few bonuses.  NO ESPN is the only draw back I see so far.  But I have XM radio in the house for CNN and music!

The really really funny part is that I discovered something strange last night.  When the "ex" was in the picture he took care of all of this TV/Audio/Video/Dish stuff.  I was clueless - not because I can't learn I just never had to learn.  Well now I don't have the "ex" but I do have the VS.

So when the "ex" was in the picture he took care of buying all of the alcohol - and he did buy lots of it!  So when I needed to know which Bourbon was best I came to the VS.  Woodford is the obvious choice; vodka and Champagne I know but for wine and other spirits I needed help.  Well now I don't have the "ex" but I do have the VS.

These are just a few examples of what I have to come to depend on the VS for and as I was discussing life over cocktails last night I discovered this...
