I care about what you say here, and I also care about what impact your posts have on the threads you get involved with over here (although so long as you don't make my job more difficult, I don't care very much).

I will say this.  For many years you were a valued participant on this board and one of my favorite posters. We all enjoyed your annual "awards presentation".  That was fun.  But my perception is that YOUR tone changed as our two programs began to go in different directions.  YOU suddenly became more facetious, more sarcastic, took more subtly caustic shots, and your posts became increasing disingenuous.  Probably more so than you realized.

Don't get me wrong...I think you're a good guy and I respect that good people can be passionate fans of rival schools.  But I think you should probably take some responsibility for the reaction you have elicited here.

Last thing...the "you can ban me" comment is a little insulting to what what I KNOW you know about how we run this place.  You know better and that was no more than dramatic grandstanding on your part.
