Alabama has scored 20 points in the first half against this D. Amazing. Did the wrong team get off the bus? Here are my halftime thoughts.
First of all, I do NOT know why when you're down 10 points in the second quarter, why you're doing those option pitches that HAVE NOT WORKED THE ENTIRE GAME.
Secondly, why are we blitzing on every down on defense? Black and Wright can't tackle Richardson by themselves. Why is Spikes blitzing anyway, shouldn't he be helping control gaps? This is sad. I'm going to freebase for the rest of the evening. Later Gators. |

Great Season Gators, great comeback. Just fell short. This was definitely not the game I had fore-casted. Can't explain why we let the receivers run all over the field. This was truly the first bad game for the Gator D. Really loved what we saw from Hines and Hernandez.
Why did we have to go Boise State in the 4th quarter? We had 2nd-down and #badword#ing 3 and we pass on 3 consecutive plays? Really wish Carl Johnson could learn how to pass block. Oh well. Great season anyway. |
