TK needed to have that talk with Bobby at the end of the penultimate season and before the start of the "end" season.  He needed to say this next year is IT.  We love you, we respect you, but for the good of the program we need to have an end game in place for your retirement, a retirement that will occur with or without your blessing at the end of the next season.  No open ended, undefined coach until you want agreement.  We will celebrate your career each and every week of the coming season.  You will be gifted, applauded and praised.  But you will be retired when the season draws to a close.
