"Your last point tells it all. I'm already bored to tears of the NFL. Just about every" |
|
CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT team wears the same blue/black jersey colors, runs the same boring dink and dunk offense, plays in the same faceless, soulless big city, plays in the same cookie-cutter 65,000 seat corporately-named stadium, mostly-filled with the same jersey-wearing maroons. It seems like every NFL game is the same....20-something to 20-something, with the same sudden focus on scoring right before the end of each half, with the commensurate shift to "prevent" by the defense. Every team has the stud QB struggling to live up to his potential, the hot young RB, the diva WR, the bat#badword#-crazy offensive lineman, the frustratingly inconsistent retread kicker who has played for eight other teams, the knuckle-dragging linebacker who's always a threat......to show up in the police blotter, the insanely talented but low-motor rush end who will make two sacks and then disappear for three games, the dreads-toting DB whose name you can't see on the back of the jersey....and they're all coached by the same vanilla robot who's wound tighter than a golf ball and always kicks the ball on 4th and two feet. The only way i can understand someone preferring pro football over college is if they were raised with it, and even then you must question their intelligence. |
