for our very own Orange and Brew!!!! Yepper, I'm not kidding. Picture this: Piotrowicz nails a kick, a FG, a boomer that went high up into the North endzone seats. Thinking that it would surely succumb to gravity and fall harmlessly to the hot metal seats below, out of nowhere, this stealth-like creature springs out of his seat, moved effortlessly a shade to his left and caught that sucker on the fly. Guys and Dolls, the SWAMP went crazy! Those of us on the field remarked that we had seldom seen such athleticism displyed on the UF campus this late in March. Orange and Brew, gracious yet humbled by this resounding gesture from the estimated 183 people in attendance, flipped to ball back down to terra-firma, where some lowly Gator FB manager was there to accept it.....and I, what did I do, you ask? I stood in awe, stunned by the moment, managing to tip my 2001 Orange Bowl visor in his direction, knowing full well that I had just witnessed something special....not wanting this moment to end, yet knowing that when people ask me about events in my life and their positive impact me, I'll long remember this day, and "THE CATCH".
