with me on this. we know ABSOLUTELY nothing about this situation. we know nothing about Muschamp's ability as a head coach. nor do we know how Gruden, Peterson or Stoops would have fared at Florida. Anything you say is speculation. And quite frankly I am appalled at the reaction of disgust. Take a look around you for a minute. Look at the coaching staffs Foley has compiled at UF. We compete year in and year out for SEC and National titles IN EVERY SPORT. Do you think that is coincidence? Or do you think that the man in charge does his homework and knows what he's doing? I admit that I am shocked and somewhat caught by surprise with this hire but not because I think Muschamp is a bad hire but because for several days I had to listen to every friggin web hero who knows somebody tell me about who was the front runner. for days we built ourselves up with a list of coaches we thought were the right hire. yet, if you were to look back there was not one potential candidate that we ALL agreed on. not one. and so, it is only natural to be deflated because you didn't get what you wanted or expected. it's a completely normal and human reaction. but to bash the school, Foley and/or Muschamp before we've even had a single practice is DISGUSTING. so relax would ya? and if you wanna puke or break something or whatever do so. but keep it to yourself would ya, cause you remind me of the ass clown who yelled crap to Chizik as he disembarked the plane...I wonder where that guy is now. maybe you two could go have a beer together or something.
