I didn't watch the game and I'm not going to, but I still base my memory from the audible words of the PBP's.

I was in a rush because it was rough night without the game going on in my head as well. But to address the incredumbly poor hands of the receivers, especially Joe Adams... my only excuse for them is that it was jitters, overexcitement, the big stage, I think maybe the state of Arkansas should lobby for a BCS bowl cuz that seems to be the ONLY place where we felt at "home".

We really should have lost the last year Liberty Bowl had it not been for the complete choke job of ECU's kicker. For some reason, Arkansas......SUCKS..... AT...... BOWLS. It truly and really is like we have never been there before and you get an opponent with the recognition of Ohio State and they act like it's their god-given right to be there EVERY year. It's insane.

I know some of you felt LSU or Bama deserved to go to the Sugar and do the job that we weren't ready to do. For better or for worse, it was our time. Bama lost 3 games, we beat LSU. Auburn will have their hands full with Ducks, so ... it's on us. I'm very proud of Hog fans out numbering OSU fans, which shouldn't have been so hard, I mean we live next door, duh and we did our best to make it a home away from home environment.

There is a Bud Light commercial floatin around that features some spray on stick em so you never drop anything. We might want to invest heavily in that for the WR corps, just sayin'. We dropped the ball..... literally. But what a hell of a comeback.

Willy Robinson, I know he has improved the defense immensely but it sounded like we were very confused in the first half, settled down and figured out Tressell's scheme in the 2nd half. I'm on the fence on keeping him for next year although we return a lot of starters on both sides. Didn't see the block punt, obviously, but by your observations it looked like we could've easily scooped and scored and instead just fell on it on their 12 yd line(?), I was too excited in the break room regardless and then I mouthed the words that until my dying day I will regret speaking: "We got one minute left. Now if only Mallett will not screw this up again....". Jinx.

I appreciate all the kind feedback and consoling from the VS nation and the well-placed quips and jabs about the teams many gaffes last night. I had the same thoughts exactly, not to mention the dropsy-trophy (see below).

I don't know if I was too hard on Mallett, but he is still not ready for primetime and we need him back. Tyler Wilson is a good backup but he will throw more picks than Mallett, the cost of trying so hard to get out of a record breaker's shadow.

The sun rose in the morning and it's still damn good to be a Hog fan.
