"IMO, just in the last 10 or so years or so on this board we have watched" |

CONTEXT ADDED BY ADMIN: END OF CONTEXT a remarkable evolution of understanding by Christians here on homosexuality. I don't know if any Christians here can see or will admit it (and I can be wrong), but over time I have seen the positions of Christian posters here soften considerably on the acceptance of homosexuality. Though no one started out with a Leviticus definition of the gheys, there has been a distinct transition. Here is a horrible simplification, but you get my point: Being gay is choice ..to... I guess it is a predisposition No gay unions ..to.. Okay to unions, just don't call it marriage DADT is an abomination ..to.. DADT is an abomination (but in the other direction) You can't be gay and truly Christian ..to.. Well, we all have sin As with any generalization this can be shot through with specific holes, but my point is that it looks like over time many Christians here have come to the opinion that they don't want to think of or treat gays any differently and hope God doesn't either. Eventually that hope will turn into belief.
