Personal Responsibility and Consequences.  We start with the equivalent of a 'bank account', but instead of money, it contains apologies, understanding, patience, and second-chances.  In those instances where, as humans, we invariably make mistakes or find ourselves in bad situations, we make a withdrawal. 

If we never make a deposit by keeping our noses clean and doing the right thing, and if we continue to make withdrawals, our individual account will eventually become overdrawn.  At that point, our acquaintances, teachers, co-workers, coaches, bosses, etc. will literally "wash their hands" of us.  Hopefully, this will be a wakeup call for Janoris Jenkins which allows him to be one of those who "learn it" rather than being one who "never does".
