If you have watched this team for more than just the post season... we have hit the ball well all year, but with RISP we struggle... we hit for good averages, but clutch hitting has let us down some this year, except for Zunino (regular season)... even Tucker struggled in the regular season for a bit. Look at our scores from SEC games (take out Ole Miss and Kentucky) and you can see we didn't light up the scoreboard like ESPN thinks we did (they have only been watching us for a few weeks too). Heck without Tucker's HR against Vandy we might not even be here.

I don't mind people venting on here but some of it is over the top... especially if someone hasn't posted about the baseball team until a week ago and they are on here blasting every coaching decision, every player, etc. I want a baseball national championship as much or more than anyone not wearing a Gator uniform, but I also realize that it is baseball and there's a reason why UF and USC are the final two teams. We made two killer mistakes and it cost us. Move on to tonight. If you think we feel pressure, most of the kids on these rosters are not going to see The Show. They might play in the minors and get shipped to Iowa or bum #badword# Oklahoma... and some will work like the rest of us and drop into obscurity until some dork like me says "wait didn't you play baseball for UF ten years ago" down the line. So this is it for most of our kids - they don't want to stop playing just like we don't want to stop watching.
