Nick and I (Orange & Brew) never attended classes at the University of Florida and have been season ticket holders since 1987 when we both ended up jumping aboard and making a commitment during the hight of probation. If it wasn't for the fact that O&B sat two rows in front of me we most likely would have never meet.

My daughter is attending UF and recently got accepted into the Nursing college. We are very proud of her and she is fulfilling a legacy that Nick and initated in 1987 (Hell, for some reason she actually thought she wanted to go to USF at one point). Now for my point, I have a son who is 17 who has what is now called autistic spectrum or the like; he's nonverbal and has trouble when he is around new people, new environments and the prone to have a "meltdown' at any disruption of his routine. If God had blessed him with the intellectual tools of my daughter he would be attending UF next year but instead he'll be taking Special Education classes in high school until he is 22 . He wears Orange and Blue just like everyone else in my family and he is just as much a Gator in my eyes as my daughter who is blessed to be attending classes in Gainesville.
