please tell me if the eyewitness was describing Martin or Zimmerman as the person on top doing the beating before he went up stairs and looked again... was martin beating up Zimmerman and was deadly force perhaps appropriate only from this knowledge base... we seem to now know that Zimmerman was probably inappropriatly harrassing and following the kid.... but did the kid try to beat his arse and get shot? And... I would never assert the facts of something based on media coverage but it is interesting how I haven't seen much like the second story posted in the last couple of days!

I also think "neighborhood watch" is not a proactive vigilante squad that has the responsibility to follow and accost other people.

Call the police, and keep an eye on the situation...don't follow and harass people.

I cannot honestly say I wouldn't mud-stomp someone following me down a dark street.  I just can't.

Right, wrong, or indifferent...I think a string of bad circumstances conflagrated on that street, and someone taking the law into their own hands is the most to blame.  I don't care who is walking down the street, you cannot assume guilt and harass people.
