Subject: Chipola wins 5th year in a row!

The 31st Annual State Brain Bowl tournament ended with a big Chipola win

over Valencia Red, 825-275.That's 5 in a row for Chipola. Broward is the

only other team with 5 wins in a row (1989-1993). Next year should prove

to be very interesting.

Paul Kelson (Chipola) was the Dave Ehlert High Point Award winner with

1145 points. The other All Star Team were Julio Gonzalez-Zuluaga

(Valencia Red, 415 pts), Travis Bontrager (Chipola, 355 pts), Dustin

Lore (Seminole, 340 pts), and Virginia Ruiz (Valencia, 320 pts.)

Chipola was a three time winner again with not only as state champions

and the high point winner, but the Roger Raepple Coach of the Year is

also from Chipola--Dr. Pontifigator.
