you and your family have been to me (and to many others) in how you all have dealt with the tragedy that took your son's life so prematurely and unexpectedly.  your strength and resolve are truly an inspiration for all of us.  your faith and spirit have made a grizzled old fallen away catholic / agnostic like me reconsider the role and importance of faith and spirituality in my life.  it sounds crazy to say this in light of what you have lost but God has truly blessed you.  you, your family and the other boys' families are doing a wonderful job of sharing that blessing with your families, friends and communities (actual communities such as Madison, Ole Miss and KA as well as virtual communities like this one). 

we are all fortunate to count you among our members and I, for one, greatly appreciate your contributions here during such a difficult time for you.  i cannot begin to understand the depths of your loss but i can truly say that i am awestruck and inspired by how you have dealt with that and moved forward with your lives in a way that honors Mason's memory and celebrates your faith.  i am truly better off for having "known" you in this way and cannot thank you enough for sharing this painful yet inspirational journey with all of us.  it almost (ALMOST!) makes up for the myriad "snead is coming" prognostications that proved to be so annoyingly accurate!  :-)
