for the safety position.  They ended up in Student Services, where I volunteer, to have his transcript pulled, so the coach was talking him up nonstop about how they loved his height, size, and numbers, so they were really wanting to make him an offer.  He told him he would be at practice today and would be sending the secondary coach up in a couple of weeks.  He bragged that they were ready to win another NC and they would love for him to help them get there. He then commented on the kids clothing and appearance (the kid dresses well) "but looking at the way your 're dressed, you look like you might be too much of a pretty boy to play for us".  Really?  That's the way you recruit?!!! 

I sat there and had so many thoughts running through my mind as I heard this guy, but considering my volunteer position there, I didn't feel it was appropriate to say anything that was on my mind.

The second the guy rounded the corner from my desk and passed one of our students, I heard her yell, "Go Gators!"

I was so proud of her!
