Message Replied To ========== if its not competitive, why bother watching? * ============================== My boss is a Vandy grad and he is just as passionate about Vandy as anyone else in my office is about their school. Granted the bond isn't quite as strong with professional sports, for me anyway, but I've been a Washington Redskin and Baltimore Oriole fan my whole life even though both those teams have been solidly mediocre to downright sucking for 20 years now. I will grant you that when the team is down it's wise not to be so emotionally invested, but you can't just quit on your team when the chips are down. |
