Conversely, Mitt has sworn to extend them, and add more to them for the upper percentiles. So while O is no saint on this issue, he's better than Mittens. ============================== http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/09/politics/obama-bush-tax-cuts/index.html Obama wants them to expire on a small minority of people. The tax income generated by this change is inconsequential to any issue facing us. So while this pissing contest is great for headlines and votes, it is pretty much irrelevant. The amount of time spent dithering over such minor irrelevancies is exactly what is wrong with Washington. |
