I was at the Georgia Tech game Saturday night and the band comes on playing a mix of classical and rock and roll, and no offense to anyone here who is/was in a marching band, but you can't pick up what they are playing till the song is about over. Then they pied in some AC/DC and I perked up thinking the band was getting down, but no. So I am thinking, why not have a halftime performance like they do at the Superbowls. You don't need huge names, just a good band or well-known singer and make the halftime show entertaining. Again, no offense to any band members, but generally, no one watches the halftime show. That is when they get up to stetch, buy a dog, or go talk to some friends.==============================

marching bands are near the top of that list. I will take a bad college marching band over piped in music every damn day of the week.
