Before this year, most of us realistically just wanted to see overall improvement in our Gators team...if for no other reason than to confirm that Muschamp was a good choice for head coach...we wanted to at least see an opportunity to build upon...and we wanted to at least see the team get to a decent bowl game...and we wanted to see solid recruitment to affirm our expectations for the future...and, not least of all, we wanted to see improvement in our SEC play...ALL of these goals have been met only seven games into the season...

With the remaining schedule, we should be set up for a really decent bowl game...of course, I still want to see the Dawgs returned to whipped puppies...and the 'noles returned to their rightful cellar position...at the very least, I want to see us win at least one of those games...

Naturally, I want it all for this team...the SEC title...the BCS national title...because, well quite simply, I am a greedy bastard...always have been, always will be...notwithstanding that, I am already satisfied with the success of this team...sure, I will be disappointed if we have some kind of a meltdown, but at this point I just don't see it...but, you never know about young minds fragility, the inury bug, etc...whatever will be will be...

Can we hang with Kansas State...or Oregon...or Alabama...???...don't know, don't care...what I see us doing is what we need to at this time and at this place in our return to being a highly competitive team...if we don't win the SEC or the BCS title, then those will be objectives for next year and beyond...

All in all, I am simply enjoying who we are, what we are, and where we are at this time and this place...nobody is proclaiming 'We are back', or 'We are elite again' or any other proclamations of self-indulgence...we shall leave that for the 'noles as they waller in the cesspool of the ACC...

So...thank you football gods...thank you Coach Muschamp...and most of all, thank you to this entire Gators team...GO GATORS !!!
