The kiddie corps around here have no memory of what happened prior to SOS returning to coach the Gators. I started attending Gator games in 1949 and I have never met a nole fan who even comes close to the crass, classless cur bastards who camp in Jacksonville for days prior to the Florida / cur game. They swill cheap bourbon and beer for three days before kickoff and then remain in J'ville until Sunday afternoon to continue screaming obscenities at everyone, women and children included.

I have been in two fights at Florida cur games. Had my heart broken by Herschel and #badword# and been assaulted verbally by cur pricks for almost as long as I have been alive. They whine, snivel complain and generally crap up my hometown for the better part of a week each year. For over half of my years as a Gator fan the curs have inflicted more misery on my Gators than any other team in college football.

SOS used to bring in the late great orator and Gator coach Gene Ellison every year before the cur game just to remind every Gator player why the curs were the ONE rival we MUST destroy at ALL costs. Steve was unsuccessful as a player vs. the curs and he always reveled in beating the Holy Living Hell out of georgia. My favorite was the last minute TD in Athens , " just because we needed to hang Fifty on their dogasses between their sacred Damned shrubbery. "

Don't take my word for it....ask the man who put Gator Football on the map and beat the GAWDDAMNEDCURS like a red headed stepchild who we NEEDED to beat EVERY year before anyone else.

Don't tell Steve Spurrier the curs weren't out #1 rival ever....don't tell ole' Hump either !
