For all the sick and suffering out there trying to battle an addiction--particularly alcohol--there is hope and most of all, you aren't alone. I was in denial for probably 20+ years.  I all but missed the so-called 14 year Nole Dynasty, Lol.  I have little recollection of the years in which I made my first several thousand posts on the VS. Really. But I did find my way after a few ups and a lot of downs.  The news is that I celebrated 3 years of sobriety earlier in the week. While sobriety came too late to save the marriage, it was soon enough to save the family, if you know what I mean. For those who know me and for those who are on other social media with me, you're probably saturated with all the celebratory accolades that have occurred the past week--particularly those that I bestowed upon myself, lol--but I am here to tell you that Life is Good! If you have a problem or even think you have a problem, there is help out there. Lots of it. Free help.Turn to someone in recovery. We aren't hard to find. We care. And a large part of our recovery is helping you in yours.
