Message Replied To ========== hell no * ============================== have to weigh the particulars of which individual teams winning, and what that may mean for Florida. I've been reaching the tipping point with Bama, as their recruiting in the Fla panhandle is IMO something that's unacceptable and needs to get corrected. The 'appeal' of yet another Bama national title being the price an SEC fan has to pay in order to be able to keep crowing about "____ titles in a row!" for me is waning, and i don't think i'd be disappointed if their failed season was the reason the SEC streak ended. I don't think i even need to go into any details about my feelings on a potential UGA national championship.  With LSU, it was fine, even though as an annual rival they have to pave their championship run through Florida. And Auburn's fluky, one-off season was.....cute.....even if it was almost solely attributable to a stud player who once was a Gator and probably should have stayed one. And i'd probably be okay with most other SEC programs winning the MNC. But, Alabama.....or Georgia? No thanks. |
