Message Replied To ========== Nice letter. They are both correct in their own way too. I personally think the bigger issue behind this and many other societal ills is the lack of God in the home. I know those who don't believe don't see it that way but I do. ============================== at our high school. Character education is non-denominational...being honest, respecting everyone, persevering, having a positive attitude, being prepared, being accountable, keeping promises, showing appreciation, etc are easily conveyed without a religious foundation. My school is parochial, so the kids are a bit more receptive but religion does not have the market cornered on moral character. |
