Thanks all. He was a great guy. I assume you read the story above about the accident. We spent a really good Christmas together. He has had MULTIPLE health problems and we have made "that call" to family before but Chuck Norris didn't have #badword# on my dad about being tough. One time when we thought he was done, he was on the vent, and restrained to keep him from removing the vent tube. He did it with his tongue. He had a great sense of humor and had a great funeral joke..don't know if I will be able to tell it. We always talked about recording some of his stories, but didn't...I had some great wine to drink with him but didn't. I am going to drink it tomorrow after funeral. No need for souvenirs
