You don't have to be an expert futurist to read the rate that polls and debates are changing and realize the inevitable. Within twenty years, not only will gay marriage be accepted throughout America, but most people will not even be able to understand why grandpa thought it was a big deal in the first place.

I like this guy. I don't mean personally, but as an advocate for the religious right. He has no idea that more and more people are rolling their eyes at talk like his and questioning if basing our values and our laws on what primitive people claimed to be inerrant truth two and three thousand years ago is a good idea. He is a better proponent of secular humanism than I'll ever be.

We should buy him a megaphone.
