It has never been a tradition for the team to stick around to sing the alma mater after a loss, even in the Spurrier days, when the tradition of singing it after a win started. Why all the outrage now? Maybe the outrage over this is just frustration over the loss? Perhaps frustration about the lack of team cohesiveness during the game? Whatever the reason, it just seems like an odd thing for us to be harping about. The harping almost tarnishes the nice gesture by Kitchens. His choice to stay and sing, I believe, was intended simply to express his love for his school, not to cast an ugly light on his teammates.
