"This is an outstanding class by Muschamp and his staff"

Impact players on both lines of scrimmage. JUCO linemen Cummings and Reed at DT will shore up holes and provide immediate depth in the rotation. And with Damien Jacobs and Dominique Easley graduating after this coming season they were critical for 2014 to avoid pressing young players into duty.

Offensive linemen Trenton Brown and Max Garcia are juniors who are physically mature and can step right in.  Same with RS Soph Tyler Moore. And again, they fill potential gaps in the 2014 roster. I'm not sure if people have picked up on how critically important that was.  On top of that we have three freshman we can redshirt and develop, although Dillard may have to play because we don't have any depth at the center position. Center was a must have position in this class and we got a good one.

We had to have an impact receiver and got at least one in Demarcus Robinson who is already on campus. Fulwood is also a big receiver in the Muschamp mold, and Hawkins has good size as well. I love Alvin Bailey in the slot and think he is underrated. Thompson has excellent speed and good character and work ethic. We got five total and it was critical to get numbers at the position.

We got two stud running backs, with Taylor already on campus developing in our strength and conditioning program. He'll be in the rotation this fall and was critical for depth purposes.  Lane is very strong, runs low to the ground and I like the way he carries the ball securely. He has the physical maturity to play immediately even though he won't be here for the spring like Taylor.

Caleb Brantley and Jay Bostwick are stud defensive tackles that are good enough to get in the rotation immediately.  Joey Ivie is already on campus and with the addition of Cummings and Reed he'll have time for a redshirt if necessary. He can play strong side end or may grow into a tackle. Riles is a little of a project but again, signing Reed and Cummings gives the staff the option to bring him along slowly if necessary. Sherit gives us a Buck who can rush the passer or drop into coverage at a position we should have depth at. He's recovering from injury but has high upside and was rated the top player at his position in the state by our staff.

We have three linebackers on campus already, and two should be in the rotation in the fall, as McMillan and Anzalone both have the size and speed to make an immediate impact at a position where we needed depth.  Jarrad Davis is an underrated inside linebacker prospect who should see playing time, and he is a high character kid.  Matt Rolin is coming off an injury but is on campus rehabbing his knee. His film is outstanding and I could see him eventually growing into a Buck.

We sent two safeties to the NFL so we had to get a few good ones and we did. Keanu Neal is a beast and will likely play in the box at Elam's old position. He is very strong and fast. Marcell Harris has excellent size and can play back at free safety or up in the box. Nick Washington is an athletic safety and nickel and was probably the top recruiter of other players in the class.  Vernon Hargreaves III is rated the #1 corner on the Scout network and after watching him play I believe it. Great instincts, coach's son, NFL size and athleticism. The kid has it all. He will play this fall and definitely start in 2014.

With Jacoby Brissett transferring we had to have a QB in this class and we got a 6'6" 235 lb kid with decent mobility and significant upside potential. He's a smart kid who will pick up the offense quickly.

This was an outstanding class and I can assure you I was very worried about it before the season started. I wasn't sure how we would do on the field and if that would affect us in recruiting, but both the season and this class far exceeded my expectations. We are back on track people, and we are going to be competing for championships this fall and in 2014 and for years to come. This class assured me of that.

"Muschamp recently admitted the team overachieved this season despite several glaring deficiencies. The main one, other than Driskel’s inexperience, was the team’s lack of a threat at wide receiver." - Matt Watts, Miami Herald Writer
