Get a Master's in History.

I only work with very successful people in my business and the common denominator besides high energy and motivation is that they followed that for which they had a passion. I've also met plenty of MBAs, CPAs, JDs, and even MDs who are losers because they weren't good fits for those career fields. My grad school advice remains go in with a laser like focus on the end career goal and go to the absolute most prestigious school you can get accepted to.

Contrary to what some in this thread believe, there are plenty of things you can do with a history degree. I know a guy who got a master's in history. He now has a great job at the national archives and also has his own business doing historical research. You may want to reach out to him. Tell him you're a friend of mine.
